Plan Your Gift

Your gift to the Reaching Higher Together Campaign helps Cottage provide exceptional health care to our community and beyond. Making a gift through a bequest, appreciated securities, retirement assets or other property are just some of the ways you can help change lives. We also offer tax-smart opportunities that can pay you during your lifetime and leave a legacy that will change lives now and into the future.

Bequests

Bequests are gifts established through estate plans. These plans include wills or living trusts, retirement plans, and life insurance.

Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities, such as stocks and mutual funds, may offer big tax advantages. These include forgiveness of the tax on capital gain and an income-tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities.

Retirement Assets

If you designate Cottage Health as beneficiary, we will benefit from the full value of your gift because your IRA assets will not be taxed at your death. Your estate will benefit from an estate tax charitable deduction for the gift.

Other Property

Donating appreciated real estate, such as a home, vacation property, undeveloped land, farmland, ranch or commercial property can make a great gift to Cottage Health.
